Hello! I'm Rachel Thomas, a passionate Graphic Designer and Marketing Manager dedicated to transforming ideas into impactful visual narratives.

I currently serve as a Graphic Designer at REI Systems, where I’m an integral part of the Creative Services Team supporting a $150M+ company with approximately 800 employees. In this role, I collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders, including Human Resources, Proposals, Marketing, Operations, and prominent Government clients such as NASA, GSA, HRSA, and the DoD. Together, we create and maintain cohesive brand identities and compelling visual stories that resonate with our audience.

Before my role at REI Systems, I led marketing initiatives and visual development at Sierra7, an SDVOSB Federal Government Contractor, and contributed to the rebranding of the Technological Hazards Division under a FEMA contract at Optimus Technologies. My career is built on a solid foundation of creative excellence, backed by a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with a concentration in Graphic Design from George Mason University.

My technical expertise spans a wide array of tools, including the full suite of Adobe Creative Cloud applications—Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, XD, Premiere Pro, Acrobat, and Dreamweaver. I’m also proficient in web development basics such as HTML and CSS, and I have extensive experience with Microsoft 365 applications, including Teams, OneDrive, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint. My portfolio includes logos, websites, social media posts, slick sheets, email campaigns, brand style guides, and more.
